Your race number, timing tag and final race details will be posted to you approximately two weeks before race day.
The 2016 race offers an extensive cash prize list;
First male and female - £250 plus a further £250 if the course record is broken
(Course records: Male 48.03 (Ricky Stephenson - 2011), Female 55.56 (Debbie Mason - 2006))
Second to Fifth male and female - £70/60/50/40
First three vet male and female (all age categories) - £30/20/10
First three club teams (three to count) - £45/30/15

Race entries can be transferred on-line at no cost - a link will be available here to make transfers when the race entry opens in October 2015.
Entry Waiting List
The race does not have a waiting or reserve list. If you have a friend or club colleague who wishes to transfer their number to you please use the on-line transfer facility at the link above.
Race entries cannot be deferred under any circumstance. Please do not make requests for entry deferment as these will be politely refused.
If the race does have to be cancelled or delayed for any reason we regret that refunds cannot be made.
Race Souvenirs (a commemorative mug) will however be available in exchange for your race number, these must be collected in person as they cannot be posted.
We also regret that refund of entry fee due to withdrawal/injury/illness in advance of race day can not be made. However, you may use the transfer facility to pass your number on to a club colleague or friend - refer to the guidance on transfers above.
The Race HQ is equipped with extensive toilet facilities which are supplemented with portable toilets. For the 2015 race limited toilet facilities will also be provided in the start area. Competitors are asked to ensure their preparation immediately before the race includes adequate time to use the toilet facilities at the race HQ and if necessary the start area. Competitors MUST NOT relieve themselves anywhere except in the toilet facilities provided. The start is located in a residential area and therefore any competitors seen urinating in any public or private place will be disqualified from the race with immediate effect and furthermore barred from entry to any future editions of this race. Please show respect to the town and its residents and uphold the good reputation the event enjoys. No excuses - no further warnings!!!
Personal Music Devices
Please be aware that the use of in-ear personal music devices are not permitted at this event, The race is held on roads open to traffic and you need to be fully aware of traffic and be able to react to the advice offered to you by the race marshals. So please do not compete in the race wearing these devices - if you do your number will be recorded and you will be disqualified from the event.
By making your entry to this race you declare that you will take part in the event entirely at your own risk, that you have no medical disabilities or conditions that may endanger you or other participants, and that you remain personally responsible for your property at the race venue. As a race entrant you confirm you are over 17 years of age.
